Able Axcess continued growth

In November 2019 after almost 20 years of servicing the whole country out of their home-base in Feilding, central New Zealand, Able Axcess expanded their operations and opened a premise in Christchurch.

With continued demand for their products and services, the Installation Technicians were needing to travel to the South Island weekly in 2019, significantly up from the up from monthly trips required in 2018.

Branching Out

With the sharp rise in demand the decision was made and that the time was right to investigate a South Island base. A sturdy building was secured, and 2 Christchurch based installers were employed and trained. The turnaround was significant immediately as it cut down the travel time on installation jobs in Christchurch, meaning clients were getting the access they needed more immediately. It also increased the ability to service not only Christchurch, but the entire South Island as the Christchurch location worked as a hub for the entire South Island.

Auckland inside

As part of the opening ceremony for the South Island base, Able Axcess invited local Occupational Therapists to come and meet the team and indulge in some nibbles, drinks, and laughs. It was a great way to put names to faces between Occupational Therapists and Able Axcess staff.

In 2020 Able Axcess is continuing its growth plan by expanding their operations again by setting up a new branch. The new branch is located down Princes in Onehunga, Auckland and is easily accessable coming off the either the South Western motorway or Southern motorway. The goal is the same as Christchurch, to improve supply and service. With the branch in Onehunga this means that not only does the Auckland region get improved service, but their Installation Technicians are much better placed to service Northland and the northern half of the Waikato region as well.

Able Axcess Onehunga Branch

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and lockdown the official opening of the Auckland branch has been delayed from happening in September and will now be early November. This will hopefully allow for the latest outbreak to get under better control. But in the meantime, expect to see more of Able Axcess in the region as they continue installing their great product and strive to improve their already great service.
